With Wimbledon wrapped and grass stains fading, it’s officially hard court szn, and all eyes are on North America as we count down to the US Open on August 24. But before we get too ahead of ourselves, sis, let’s talk about the women who are bringing the heat and rewriting the rules in the tennis world.
The August 2025 UTR Pro Rankings just dropped, and baby… it’s Coco time. Here’s who’s slaying on court and making major noise as the tour shifts to the US:
1. Coco Gauff (UTR 12.99)
America’s golden girl is No. 1, y’all! Even though she had a rough first round at Wimbledon (it happens to the best), Coco is now sitting at the top of the UTR charts for the first time ever. She’s already flexing in Montreal with two strong wins, and trust, the US Open crowd is going to ride HARD for her.
2. Aryna Sabalenka (UTR 12.96)
Former No. 1 Sabalenka slides down just a smidge, but don’t get it twisted, she’s still a powerhouse. Her Wimbledon run ended in the semis thanks to the surprise queen Amanda Anisimova, but Aryna’s got bounce-back energy. Watch this space.
3. Iga Swiatek (UTR 12.90)
The queen of clay is now also the queen of grass, yep, Iga snagged her first Wimbledon crown and her sixth major title overall. She’s not just making history; she’s making it look easy.
4. Mirra Andreeva (UTR 12.81)
Still a teen, still terrifying on court. After a stunning quarterfinal Wimbledon run, Mirra’s proving she’s no future star, she’s a right now star. NYC better be ready.
5. Zheng Qinwen (UTR 12.77)
It wasn’t her season on grass, but let’s not sleep on Zheng. She’s still locked in the Top 5 and could find her rhythm again just in time for the US Open.
6. Madison Keys (UTR 12.77)
Big serves, big groundstrokes, big dreams. Madison has her eyes on the prize in New York, and we already know she’s got what it takes to light up Arthur Ashe.
7. Ekaterina Alexandrova (UTR 12.75)
Solid and steady, Ekaterina made it to Round 4 at Wimbledon before bowing out to Belinda Bencic. Quietly climbing the ranks, and very capable of causing chaos in Queens.
8. Elina Svitolina (UTR 12.74)
Let’s hear it for the moms! Elina is still the highest-ranked mama on the tour, showing the world that motherhood and major wins can definitely co-exist.
9. Elena Rybakina (UTR 12.72)
Rybakina is always a threat, the 2022 Wimbledon champ just went three sets deep in Washington, D.C. before falling to Leylah Fernandez. She’s sharpening for a run in NYC.
10. Jessica Pegula (UTR 12.67)
J-Peg is still collecting trophies, her ninth title came just last month in Bad Homburg. She’s had a couple early exits since, but the New Yorker is built for big stages.
And hey in case you’re wondering who dropped out this month? That would be Marketa Vondrousova. But knowing how wild the WTA is, we wouldn’t be shocked to see her bounce back strong.

So what now?
With the US Open almost here and the race tighter than ever, all we know is this: the women’s game is stacked and everyone’s hungry. The power, finesse, and drama, all leading up to one of the biggest stages in the sport. Let’s go!
